The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command launched a series of targeted raids between August 1 and August 21, 2025, aimed at dismantling illicit drug operations within the capital city. These operations, spearheaded by the Anti-Narcotics Section, focused on known drug hotspots across various districts, including Asokoro, Trademore, Mapape, Kurudu, Kubwa, Gwarimpa, Jikwoyi, Utako, Life Camp, Zuba, and Karshi. The raids resulted in the apprehension of 116 individuals suspected of involvement in drug-related activities.
