ArcelorMittal Liberia (AML) has reinforced its unwavering commitment to safety by certifying 29 professional drivers in Buchanan after they successfully completed a comprehensive two-day Defensive Driving Program. This initiative underscores AML’s dedication to fostering a culture of safety both within its operations and in the wider community. The program equipped drivers with essential skills and knowledge to enhance road safety, aligning with international best practices and strengthening AML’s proactive approach to accident prevention.
The newly certified drivers underwent rigorous training encompassing both theoretical and practical sessions, culminating in a formal certification ceremony. The training focused on instilling defensive driving techniques, emphasizing hazard anticipation, adherence to road regulations, and adaptation to varying road and weather conditions.
