The Chrisland School community recently celebrated the triumphant conclusion of the fifth annual Daniel Oreoluwa Adebiyi Foundation Soccer Challenge, a tournament established to commemorate the life and aspirations of a promising young footballer whose dreams were tragically cut short. The 2025 edition culminated in an all-Chrisland final, a testament to the school’s dedication to fostering athletic talent and sportsmanship. This year’s competition welcomed six participating teams: Chrisland School A, Chrisland School B, Leeland, Honeyland, Supreme Education Foundation, and FERSCOAT. The teams were divided into two groups for the initial round-robin stage, setting the stage for a series of intense matches that tested the players’ skills, strategic thinking, and teamwork. As the tournament progressed, the competition intensified, culminating in the knockout rounds. Both Chrisland teams showcased exceptional prowess, navigating through the challenges and ultimately securing their places in the final.
