Dr. Rasheed Akinbile, the founder of the Muslims in Light Organisation (MILOR) Sufi Centre, has called upon Nigerians to strengthen their spiritual connections with God as a means of overcoming the adversities currently faced by the nation. During the organization’s 35th anniversary event, held in Ibadan, Akinbile emphasized the importance of inner wealth and resilience in the face of life’s challenges, urging people to align their actions with divine principles of fairness and justice. He acknowledged the difficulties associated with Nigeria’s economic transition while encouraging citizens to remain steadfast and positive as the government seeks to rebuild the country’s economic infrastructure.
In his address, Akinbile implored Nigerians to perceive hardship not merely as a burden, but as an opportunity for spiritual and personal growth. He articulated that prayer and self-reflection can be significant tools in navigating the complexities of existence, providing comfort and guidance during tough times. Drawing on his understanding of Islamic teachings, he highlighted the significance of faith and community in fostering a hopeful outlook amidst adversity.
