The competitive element of the carnival further enhanced its vibrancy. Various cultural groups participated in a dance competition, showcasing their unique styles and traditions. The Anzanlu Dancers of Nassarawa-Eggon emerged victorious, receiving a prize of N1 million and a cow from Umaru. The Rindre Women Cultural Dancers from Wamba and the Mada Cultural Dancers secured the second and third positions, respectively, earning N700,000 and a cow each.
