The FCMB SheVentures Mentoring Programme, a collaborative effort between First City Monument Bank (FCMB) and the Nigerian Employers’ Consultative Association’s Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NNEW), recently celebrated the graduation of its eleventh cohort, comprising 215 women entrepreneurs. The six-week program equips participants with practical skills and knowledge across five key business areas: strategic management, financial management, operations, sales and marketing, and human resources. This comprehensive approach ensures that the women entrepreneurs receive a well-rounded education, preparing them to navigate the multifaceted challenges of running a successful business.
The program’s curriculum incorporates a variety of learning methodologies to maximize impact and engagement. Masterclasses led by industry experts provide invaluable insights and practical advice, while one-on-one mentorship sessions offer personalized guidance and support tailored to individual business needs. Sector-focused discussions facilitate peer-to-peer learning and networking, enabling participants to share experiences and learn from each other’s successes and challenges. Furthermore, book reviews expose participants to diverse perspectives and best practices, broadening their understanding of business principles and strategies.
