The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Dangiwa, has embarked on an ambitious initiative to rehabilitate dilapidated federal government buildings in Lagos State, starting with the joint buildings of the Ministry of Works and Housing at Tafawa Balewa Square. Recognizing the pressing need for improved working conditions and the broader urban renewal potential of these neglected properties, the Minister has outlined a multi-faceted approach encompassing budgetary allocations, public-private partnerships, and a meticulous assessment of unoccupied buildings.
