Madam Hannah Asamoah, the Parliamentary Candidate for the Agona East Constituency representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has strongly urged first-time voters to support Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming presidential elections. Asamoah emphasized that backing Dr. Bawumia and herself would not only perpetuate the development efforts accomplished under President Akufo-Addo’s administration but also enhance the quality of life for Ghanaians. During a recent rally to inaugurate the ‘Friends of Hannah Asamoah and Dr. Bawumia’ initiative in Agona Duakwa, she implored the youth to recognize the substantial differences in governance performance between the current NPP administration and previous governments.

In her address to enthusiastic NPP supporters, she asserted that the party’s achievements over the years are unparalleled in Ghana’s political history, thereby necessitating a robust turnout at the polls on December 7. Asamoah highlighted the critical need for first-time voters to play a significant role in securing a second term for Dr. Bawumia and her election as the parliamentary representative for Agona East. She focused on her commitment to creating job opportunities for unemployed youth, particularly recent tertiary graduates, which she considers her primary goal. Alongside job creation, Asamoah pledged to champion financial support for women and small businesses while seeking to attract both local and foreign investments to foster a thriving economic environment in the constituency.

Detailing her strategic priorities, Madam Asamoah stressed the importance of building a better future for young people through employment initiatives. She underscored that fostering adequate financial backing for women is essential, highlighting their need for resources to grow their businesses further. Moreover, she identified the necessity for investments that would create stable markets for farmers and reduce the financial strain associated with post-harvest losses. By addressing these critical areas, she hopes to demonstrate her commitment to empowering constituents and enhancing their overall livelihoods.

Her words were clear: the NPP is committed to winning the upcoming elections decisively, a sentiment that resonates strongly within the party’s ranks. Asamoah articulated her confidence in the party’s legacy of accomplishments, which she believes serves as a solid foundation for their campaign. The NPP’s strategy involves widespread outreach initiatives, particularly targeting first-time voters, to ensure the message of progress and development reaches every corner of the country. She emphasized that, armed with a record of successful governance, the NPP is in a strong position to garner widespread public support.

Supporting Madam Asamoah’s message, Mr. Kojo Ham, a former Chairman of the Efutu constituency, admonished citizens to disregard any criticisms or negative rhetoric from former President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Ham argued that these detractors have little to offer in terms of innovative policies and ideas to move the country forward. Instead, he encouraged the electorate to recognize the achievements of the NPP and to rally behind candidates like Asamoah and Bawumia who are committed to continuing this trajectory of positive change.

Ultimately, the crux of Madam Asamoah’s campaign hinges on her vision for a better future anchored in job creation, financial empowerment, and attracting investment. Her appeal to first-time voters is not merely a tactical move but also a call to participate meaningfully in shaping Ghana’s political landscape. With the elections rapidly approaching, the NPP looks to leverage its proven record and energize its base while inviting a new generation of voters to join in their mission of progress and stability for the nation.
