The fourth edition of the LCB Corporate Games, a flagship corporate football tournament organized by crisis management solutions company LCB Worldwide Ghana Ltd, commenced on August 2nd, 2025, at the Nii Adjei Krakue II Sports Complex in Tema New Town. Under the banner of teamwork, networking, and healthy competition, the games welcomed sixteen teams from various sectors across Accra and Tema, setting the stage for ten weeks of intense competition culminating in a grand finale with a GH₵20,000 prize for the winning team. This year’s tournament not only aims to promote a spirit of camaraderie and collaboration amongst participating companies but also offers a unique platform for networking and forging potential business partnerships within a dynamic and engaging environment.

The tournament’s opening match featured a thrilling encounter between LCB Worldwide Ghana Ltd and the Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders (GIFF), setting a high-energy precedent for the matches to follow. This initial clash provided a glimpse of the fierce competition and spirited performances expected throughout the tournament, with both teams showcasing their talent and determination to enthusiastic spectators. The tournament structure, dividing the sixteen participating teams equally between Tema and Accra zones, provides a balanced competitive landscape. The Tema zone features prominent contenders such as Wilmar Africa Ghana Ltd, Dock Labour Company, and the defending champions, Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) Fire Department. The Accra zone boasts strong teams including LCB Worldwide Ghana Ltd, GIFF, Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA), and Aviance, among others.

Beyond the on-field action, the LCB Corporate Games provides a platform for participating companies to strengthen their brands, showcase their commitment to employee well-being, and highlight their community engagement initiatives. The inclusion of team-building activities further enhances the tournament’s value, fostering unity and stronger internal relationships within the competing teams. Alongside the coveted championship trophy and GH₵20,000 grand prize, the tournament offers additional cash rewards of GH₵10,000 and GH₵5,000 for the first and second runners-up, respectively. Individual awards, including Best Goalkeeper and Top Scorer, add another layer of recognition and incentive for outstanding individual performances.
