Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) recently welcomed 3,944 new students into its fold for the 2024-2025 academic session, marking the commencement of their academic journey. During the matriculation ceremony, the Rector, Dr. Babatunde Jolaoso, delivered a resounding message emphasizing the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and character development, while also cautioning against vices that could jeopardize their future prospects. He stressed the importance of shunning cultism, indecent dressing, examination malpractice, and other antisocial behaviours, highlighting the institution’s zero-tolerance policy towards such acts.
Dr. Jolaoso underscored the significance of matriculation as a formal induction into the polytechnic community and the beginning of a transformative experience towards achieving lifelong dreams. He urged the students to prioritize not just academics but also the cultivation of strong character and valuable skills, reminding them that their actions reflect not only on themselves but also on the institution and their families.
