In a bid to alleviate the economic challenges faced by residents in Agboyi-Ketu, Lagos State, the local council’s chairman, Dele Oshinowo, has initiated a significant financial support program by distributing a total of N50 million to 1,000 constituents. This assistance was facilitated through MTN’s MoMo mobile money service and forms part of the council’s broader “We Lift Community Empowerment initiative.” The event, hosted at Tomroyal multipurpose hall, celebrated the distribution of N50,000 to each beneficiary, promoting the idea that this initiative serves not merely as financial assistance but as a foundational step toward fostering hope and empowerment among vulnerable residents.
