The Director-General specifically praised the hospitality of the people of Bauchi State, pointing to the provision of buses by local councils to transport corps members to their Places of Primary Assignment (PPAs) as a testament to their welcoming nature. He urged the corps members to reciprocate this gesture by dedicating themselves to the upliftment of their host communities and contributing meaningfully to the development of Bauchi State as a whole.
Ahmed’s address further emphasized the symbiotic relationship between the NYSC and the host communities. He acknowledged the support received from the Bauchi State Government in providing a conducive and secure environment for both corps members and NYSC officials during the orientation camp.
