Ojelabi directed candidates to reach out to those who contested against them in the primaries as a gesture of unity and to consolidate support within the party. He further emphasized the responsibility of elected officials to reside within their respective constituencies, underscoring the party’s commitment to localized representation and accountability. This directive reflects a focus on ensuring that elected officials remain connected to the communities they serve.

Underscoring the significance of local governance, Ojelabi highlighted the role of council chairmen in delivering essential services to the people.
