This landmark event, themed “Unlocking Opportunities in the Central Region,” showcased the region’s commercial potential, innovative spirit, and rich cultural heritage. The Expo, envisioned as a catalyst for economic transformation, highlighted the region’s trajectory of rapid development, underscoring its emergence as a dynamic hub for investment and growth. Presiding over the ceremony, Odeefuo Amoakwa Buadu VIII, a prominent traditional leader, emphasized the growing recognition of the Central Region’s potential, positioning the Expo as a pivotal platform for unlocking further economic progress.

The event attracted a distinguished assembly of leaders and stakeholders, reflecting the significance of the Expo. Among the attendees were Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II, Omanhene of Oguaa Traditional Area; Professor Samuel Ato Duncan, CEO of COA Research and Manufacturing Company; Madam Nana Ama Brown Clutsey, CEO of the Environmental Protection Authority; Madam Ursla Tawiah, CEO of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority; Madam Millicent Adjei, Executive Director of Atlantic Lithium; Mr. Adam Sule, Director-General of SSNIT; and Hon. The vibrant cultural heritage of the Central Region took center stage as the Centre for National Culture’s (CNC) folklore ensemble captivated the audience with the traditional Ompɛ Dance. The rhythmic energy and vibrant costumes of the ensemble provided a captivating spectacle, celebrating the region’s identity and heritage. Kojo Yankah urged stakeholders to leverage the region’s abundant resources, distinguished educational legacy, and rich tourism potential to drive trade and generate economic prosperity.
