Ambassador Zino Lexili Ogazi, a multifaceted individual recognized for her contributions as a creative entrepreneur, humanitarian, and advocate for youth empowerment, marked International Women’s Day 2025 with a significant act of generosity. She awarded 70% scholarships to 50 female students of Pentecost University College, enabling them to pursue Professional Diploma Programs in various creative fields. These scholarships, presented during a university conference themed “Celebrating Resilience and Empowering the Next Generation of Women,” represent a tangible investment in the future of these young women and a concrete demonstration of Ambassador Ogazi’s commitment to turning the concept of empowerment into a lived reality. The ceremony, attended by over 500 students, also featured an Impact Forum that delved into the multifaceted aspects of what it means to be an empowered woman in today’s world.

The scholarships cover programs in Acting, Modeling, Dance, TV Presenting, Pageantry, and Makeup Artistry, providing recipients with the opportunity to hone their skills and pursue careers in the creative industries. This initiative aligns with Ambassador Ogazi’s broader vision of fostering talent and empowering young individuals to achieve their full potential. It also coincided with the fifth anniversary of the Supreme Dynamic Talent Academy (SDTA), an organization she presides over, symbolizing a milestone of opportunity, talent development, and empowerment. The scholarships, therefore, carry a dual significance, representing both a celebration of women’s achievements and a commitment to nurturing future generations of creative leaders.

During the event, Ambassador Ogazi underscored her belief that true empowerment goes beyond mere rhetoric; it requires action and tangible support. Her message resonated deeply with the audience, particularly the young women who stand to directly benefit from her generosity. By providing these scholarships, she not only alleviates the financial burden of education but also instills in these students the confidence and belief in their own abilities, essential ingredients for success in any field. Her words and actions served as a powerful reminder that empowerment is a process of enabling individuals to take control of their own lives and contribute meaningfully to society.

The event, jointly organized by the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) and the Women’s Commission of the Pentecost University Students’ Representative Council (SRC), showcased the collaborative spirit behind this initiative. The recognition bestowed upon Ambassador Ogazi further highlights the impact of her work. Both Pentecost University College and NUGS presented her with a Citation of Honour, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to education and youth empowerment. This recognition underscores the broad reach of her influence and the respect she commands within academic and student communities.

Ambassador Ogazi’s dedication to empowering young people, particularly women, extends far beyond this single event. Her history of engagement with students at various institutions, including PRESEC, the University of Ghana, the University of Cape Coast, and Pentecost University College, demonstrates a sustained commitment to nurturing the next generation. Through motivational talks, mentorship, and scholarship awards, she has consistently invested in the potential of young individuals, inspiring them to pursue their dreams and become agents of positive change in their communities. Her actions serve as a powerful example of the impact that individuals can have when they dedicate themselves to uplifting others.

Ambassador Ogazi’s multifaceted roles as Chairperson of the SDTA Awards and Creative Director of the Supreme Dynamic Agency further solidify her position as a trailblazer in leadership, creativity, and humanitarian endeavors. Her upcoming television reality show, “Face of SDTA Awards,” promises to provide a platform for young creatives and emerging talents across various disciplines, further amplifying her commitment to fostering and showcasing young talent. This project reflects her ongoing efforts to create opportunities for young people to gain exposure, develop their skills, and build successful careers in the creative industries. It also highlights her understanding of the power of media to inspire and connect with a wider audience, promoting positive change and celebrating the potential of young creatives. Through her various initiatives, Ambassador Ogazi continues to empower young women, not only through financial support but also by providing them with the tools, platforms, and inspiration they need to thrive and become impactful leaders in their chosen fields.
