The ceremonial kick-off, executed by His Royal Majesty, Oniba Ekun of Iba Kingdom, officially set the tournament in motion, amidst the cheers and excitement of the assembled crowd.

Among the notable attendees were the Oloja Ekun of Igbesa, Olu of Oregun, Agbaosi of Aguda Ogba, Olu of Agboyi, Alakesan of Akesan, Olu of Ojodu, and Olu of Mapara.
