TECHAiDE Ghana has recently launched an innovative educational tool known as the ASANKA Platform, aimed at enhancing educational accessibility across Ghana, especially for students in underserved regions. This initiative was unveiled during a ceremony at the Centre for National Distance Learning and Open Schooling (CENDLOS) in Accra. The ASANKA Platform is designed with improved features to ensure that education remains accessible to all children, even those without reliable internet access. As emphasized by TECHAiDE’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kafui Prebbie, the platform is a timely solution to address the digital divide affecting 70% of students in rural parts of the country who are deprived of internet connectivity, highlighting a commitment to inclusive education.

Mr. Prebbie expressed optimism regarding the platform’s potential to revolutionize education in Ghana. He highlighted that the ASANKA Platform not only provides educational content but also includes a tracking system that allows parents to monitor their children’s progress.
